Professors and administrators who are frequently called upon to join formal academic processions often prefer to own the PhD gown in the distinctive University of California blue. If you are a current Masters or PhD candidate, you may prefer to rent a standard black gown. Student information and on-line ordering is available in the Graduation Etc. section.
